New Delhi: The Independence Day activities Delhi Traffic Police has released an advisory alerting drivers of road closures and diversions for the Independence Day Activities finish rehearsal phase on August 13.
Tuesday from 4 am to 11 am will see the closure of eight roads: Independence Day Activities Netaji Subhash Marg, Lothian Road, SP Mukherjee Marg, Chandni Chowk Road, Nishad Raj Marg, Esplanade Roads and its Link Road, Ring Road from Rajghat to ISBT, and the outside ring road from ISBT to IP Flyover.
The advisory stated that for the rehearsal, vehicles without parking labels should stay away from the following areas Independence Day Activities: C-Hexagon, the entrance to India Gate, the Copernicus Marg, Mandi House, Sikandra Road, W Point, the point Tilak Marg, Mathura Road, BSZ Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, JL Nehru Marg, the Inner Ring Road between Nizamuddin Khatta as well as ISBT Kashmere Gate, as well as the outside of the ring road from Nizamuddin Khatta to ISBT Kashmere Gate through Salimgarh bypass.

The advise further pointed out that until Independence Day Activities August 15, flying unconventional sources aerial platforms such as as paragliders, paramotors, hang gliders, UAVs, microlight aircraft, remotely operated aircraft, heated balloons, quadcopters, or parajumping from aircraft is forbidden over Delhi’s jurisdiction.
